Monitor/TV set up, help..!?

That monitor will work fine with the sat. box. The sat. box works just like a tuner so the TV doesn't need one. The A/V receiver would come in handy if you decide to add other electrical components to your home...like dvd, gaming, etc! With that receiver you can hook up multiple components to it with only one cable going to the TV, rather then trying to hook everything up to the TV itself!
