Is Macy's becoming another Jcpenny?

I am an employee of a Macy's south division, and the companies motto is We are America's choice for affordable fashion. Or some crap like that. Anyway, at the store I work at they also do sell Marthat Stewart home stuff, which is also sold at K-Mart. But Macy's will tell you what they sell is the high end Marthat Stewart. The Clinique and Estee Lauder counters are just vendors, along with fine jewelry, and Coach. All the rest of the stuff is cheap crap Macy's sells. But I doubt they will sell to JC Penney, because Macy's and Bloomingdales are the same company.
