Protest on 16th Street Mall in Denver last night (5/6/2011)?

Was there a protest on the 16th Street Mall against Denver PD brutality? I work downtown. We got some warning notice through work that there was a planned protest along the 16th Street mall last night (5/6/2011). It had to do specifically with the Booker jail death case apparently. I see nothing of this in the local news at all. Was it just a hoax? I was a little afraid of some violence or something if this went down along with the Cinco De Mayo celebration. Anyone have any information?
